Job description We are a holistic boutique spa on Abbot Kinney, with a long standing clientele. We are seeking an outstanding Customer Service professional to join our team. We are looking for somebody who is passionate about customer service, wellness, the spa industry, spa products, growing, learning and inspiring others. More than simply a spa receptionist, this role serves as the face of the spa and serves as the first point of contact with clients, as well as being the liaison between our customers and therapists. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE: • Exceptional organizational skills, detail oriented and the ability to multi-task • A passion for wellness & spas. Prior Spa experience a PLUS! • Computer and tech savvy. Experience with Booker/MindBody a PLUS! • Polished communication skills, as well as appearance • Reliability and timeliness • You are a collaborator that connects with a diverse cross-section of people with grace and ease • You are a team player, who also take initiative and has drive • Cash handling abilities • Hospitality and / or Retail experience a PLUS! RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: • Being able to articulate Spa Sophia's brand and mission and services to clients and vendors • Scheduling appointments: via phone, online, email and in person. • Addressing and finding solutions regarding client concerns • Supervising transactions and sales via our online booking software • Managing marketing emails to clients • Maintaining a clean, peaceful, relaxed spa atmosphere where all feel welcome • Opening and closing the spa • Ensuring the timeliness of therapists and appointments • Ensuring clients have a positive experience We offer great perks, as well as flexible schedules.
